Like a massage, but a workout

Like any ecosystem, your body needs diversity. Pilates teaches you how to safely move in as many ways as possible, so you feel stronger in everyday life.

I work with you as the individual you are. This means the results vary from thinking your watch is wrong after running 7 km in your 5K time and effort, losing pain you believed was just a part of aging, measuring a few centimeters taller at your next checkup, or feeling more confident when you sit down for a meeting.

These are all real client stories. What will Pilates do for you?

“It’s not like other online classes. It’s not you watching a teacher - she watches you and corrects every posture, and she does it amazingly. She sees every detail.”

Kind Movement

I started ALPS Movement to teach people how to physically feel better in their bodies without the unhealthy messages we so often see in fitness culture. You can feel strong and supported without breaking yourself in the gym or being confused by random physical therapy exercises you found online. That’s what Pilates was designed for. No more mystery around your muscles and what they actually do. We’ll apply the idea of ‘knowledge is power’ to your workouts. Get ready for a different way to sweat.

Alex is like a car mechanic for the body and mind. Getting you to leave class with just the right vibe is her specialty. Before meeting Alex, I didn’t understand how Pilates could be challenging or compliment the intense workouts I was used to. My body just feels better when I include ALPS Movement in my fitness schedule.
