Semi-Private Pilates

The personal attention you crave, but a fraction of the costs.

Pilates has a long tradition of offering sessions with two or three people; something between a big group class and personal training. At ALPS Movement, I call these semi-private classes. You might see other Pilates studios call these duets or trios.

Unlike group classes, you and your fellow mover might not be given the exact same exercises because you aren’t there doing a choreography I defined a few days ago. The structure of your session will depend on your individual needs, both physically and your learning style. And unlike private sessions, you share the hourly cost.

Semi-Private Classes & Self-Organized Semi-Private

There are two ways to take a semi-private session in Thalwil. Either drop in to a class throughout the week or arrange your own group with family and friends.

Semi-Private Classes are like a standard class, where you can simply book as you please, without having to think of who else will join you for class. These sessions are 75.- if you drop-in, or you can join as a member.

Private Multi-Person Training is exactly as they sound: come to the studio with a family member or friends, and the price remains 165.- regardless of whether you are two or three people. You also may choose from all standard times on the schedule.

Duets and trios get me in the studio as often as possible.

How to Start

Whether you are interested in semi-private classes or private multi-person training, I recommend all new clients begin with the Intro Package, so I can get to know you 1:1.
