Semi-Private

Have your private session with one or two other people

Get the same personal attention you crave, but share your training session costs.

If you want to start Pilates with friends or coworkers, you can book sessions with Alex in Thalwil, with a maximum of 3 participants, or online, with a maximum of 5 participants.

What is a duet or trio session?

Pilates has a long tradition of offering sessions with two or three people; something between a group class and private session. Duets are you and another person, while trio are you and two other people.

Unlike group classes, you and your fellow mover might not be given the exact same exercises; it will depend on your individual needs, both physically and learning style. And unlike private sessions, you share the hourly cost.

You can schedule your sessions with a family member, friend or ask Alex if there are any groups looking to add a third.

Duets and trios get me in the studio as often as possible.

I don’t understand why I’m feeling things I never felt before - despite years of working out.

Drop-In Semi-Private vs. Self-Organized Semi-Private

There are two ways to take a semi-private session in Thalwil. Either arrange your own group and book as a group or drop-in to a class throughout the week.

Drop-In Semi-Private is like a standard class, where you can simply book as you please, without having to think of who else will join you for class. These sessions have fixed times throughout the week and can be booked for 75.- per person.

Self-Organized Semi-Privates are exactly as they sound: come with a family member or friends, and the price remains 165.- regardless of it you are two or three people. You also may choose from all standard times on the schedule. The studio offers a WhatsApp chat to help you connect with others for these sessions.
