Annual Memberships
Because your body doesn't work on a three-month timeline
Your studio membership should set you up to succeed.
After a decade in fitness, I design training protocols around real life, not against it. The annual memberships at ALPS Movement exist to give you the results you’ve been looking for without the pressure, guilt, or anonymity that most of the fitness industry works with.
Results take time; that's not a flaw
Pilates works by retraining movement patterns that have often been years in the making. A tight hip, a shoulder that won't cooperate, a back that gives out on long travel days. These things didn't arrive overnight and they won't leave in six weeks. What changes in six weeks is awareness. What changes in a year is your body.
Clients who commit to a full year are the ones whose lives are changed by Pilates. That's not magic. That's what consistency does.
Life will happen, but that's already accounted for
School holidays, work travel, sick kids, the week you just can't. The annual memberships are built around the reality that you’re a busy person with competing priorities, not an athlete whose only job is training.
With 35 or 70 sessions spread over a full year, you have the flexibility to ebb and flow without losing your place or your progress. Priority booking means your regular slot is protected even when things get hectic.
You don’t fall off a cliff because you missed two weeks in August or your kid got the flu in March. We pick back up, and we keep going.
“This has been the best thing I’ve ever done for my body. Even though it was never about performance, it was amazing to see how much faster I am when I run - all because of Pilates.”
“I finally have answers to why I was feeling the way I was, and most importantly, now I know can do something about it. I can’t even express how valuable that is.”
A teacher who actually knows you
After a year together, I know how your body responds to stress, how your left hip behaves after a long flight, what makes you laugh when something is hard, and what cues actually land for you. That accumulated knowledge is what makes the work efficient. Starting over with a new instructor or bouncing between packages at different studios means starting that process over every time.
A year means we don't waste time re-introducing ourselves to your body every session.
Community, for real
In semi-private sessions, the people you train with remember it was your sister’s birthday last week and ask if you made the chocolate cake or the one you saw on Instagram. I train semi-private sessions with the understanding that this is a group dynamic and it is something we can and do acknowledge.
These aren’t strangers who happen to be in the same room; they’re neighbors who become a part of your life and know your goals. They root for you when you make progress and want to know your insight on what make an exercise click for you one day. While I can’t promise friendship, you aren’t a number here, and you never will be.

Membership terms
Annual commitment, paid monthly by invoice over 12 months.
Your session time is fixed and reserved for you for the full year. At the start of your membership, I’ll ask for your planned holidays and days off so everything can be scheduled in advance.
Sessions cancelled with less than 12 hours’ notice are credited back to your membership and can be used later in the year.
If I am ill or away, your membership is extended accordingly. I plan my holidays around when the most clients are away to minimise disruption.
Cancellation of membership requires a minimum of 4 months’ written notice before the end of the contract.
Additional sessions beyond your membership are available at the standard drop-in rate: CHF 165 for private, CHF 75 for semi-private.
Membership FAQs
-
35 weeks accounts for the Swiss school holiday calendar, typical vacation periods, and illness or work conflicts. Rather than charging you for sessions I know you can’t attend, the membership is built around the weeks you can actually train in. year. You pay monthly for the full 12 months, which keeps your budget consistent and your progress uninterrupted.

Life happens. The cancellation policy is 12 hours so if your kid comes home from school with a stomach bug and you cancel ontime, the session is credited back to your membership. You can use it to join another session later in the year when there’s an opening, or carry it forward. It won’t be lost.
-
Your session time is fixed for the year, which is part of what makes the membership work for both of us. That said, if your circumstances change significantly, I’m always happy to look at options based on availability. I can’t guarantee a specific slot will be free, but I’ll do my best to make it work.

Your membership covers your regular training year. If you’d like to add sessions on top of that, you can book them at the standard drop-in rate, CHF 165 for private, CHF 75 for semi-private, subject to availability, or for a ten pack booked towards the end of your year. If you would like to expand your membership, we can also discuss this.
