Annual Memberships
Because your body doesn't work on a three-month timeline
Your studio membership should set you up to succeed.
After a decade in fitness, I design my members’ training protocols around real life, rather than setting you up to fail. The annual memberships at ALPS Movement exist to give you the results you’ve been looking for, without the pressure or anonymity that much of the fitness industry works with.
Results take time - that's not a flaw
Pilates works by retraining movement patterns that have often been years in the making. A tight hip, a shoulder that won't cooperate, a back that gives out on long travel days - these things didn't arrive overnight, and they won't leave in six weeks. What changes in six weeks is awareness. What changes in a year is your body.
Clients who commit to a full year are the ones whose lives are changed by Pilates. That's not magic. That's what consistency does.
Life will happen, but that's already accounted for
School holidays, work travel, sick kids, the week you just can't. The annual memberships are built around the reality that you’re a busy person with competing priorities, not an athlete whose only job is training.
With 35 or 70 sessions spread over a full year, you have the flexibility to ebb and flow without losing your place or your progress. Priority booking means your regular slot is protected even when things get hectic.
You don't fall off a cliff because you missed two weeks in August. You pick back up in September, and we keep going.
A teacher who actually knows you
This is the part no package breakdown can fully capture. After a year together, I know how your body responds to stress, how your left hip behaves after a long flight, what makes you laugh when something is hard, and what cues actually land for you. That accumulated knowledge is what makes the work efficient. Starting over with a new instructor or bouncing between packages at different studios means starting that process over every time.
A year means we don't waste time re-introducing ourselves to your body every session.
“Before meeting Alex, I didn’t understand how Pilates could be challenging or complement the intense workouts I was used to.”
Investment reflecting your commitment
Annual membership pricing is structured to reward consistency. At CHF 435.- per month for one private session a week, or CHF 820.- for two, you're getting 35 or 70 sessions spread across the year, with priority booking included and flexibility built in for the weeks life gets in the way.
For context, drop-in private sessions are CHF 165.-. The annual membership brings your per-session cost down significantly, and if you ever go over your allotted sessions, additional hours are discounted rather than the full rate.
Semi-private sessions follow the same structure: CHF 190.- per month for one session a week, or CHF 350.- for two.
Note on Insurance
ALPS Movement is accredited by QualiCert for fitness, which means multiple insurance providers in Switzerland may reimburse part of your annual Pilates costs. Please ask your insurance company for more information.
